High View

Nestling in the corner of the courtyard, one-bedroomed High View is the smallest of the 200 year old former farm buildings. With its canopied porch and sun-trap seating area, High View is not over-looked and allows guests to sit back and relax inside or out.

Inside, the traditional slate floored Living Room has a large wood-burning stove providing a cosy excuse for opening a bottle of wine and settling down in front of the flickering flames.  The Kitchen, which is found down a single shallow step at the rear of the property, is compact but well equipped, and the sky-light window enables guests to spot a whole collection of native birds.

With double doors opening onto a small secluded private courtyard, there is also a BBQ on request and seating for al fresco dining and the chance to enjoy lazy evenings watching the sun set over the fields.

Upstairs, the Double Bedroom is dual aspect with views towards the North Cornish Coast to the rear. With a large shower, the bathroom has also been cleverly designed to give as much space as possible.

Free Wi-Fi available, and all crisp white cotton bedlinen, hairdryer and bath towels are included, so you only need to bring beach towels. A starter basket of logs is supplied with each booking and subsequent baskets of logs charged at £5 per bag. Kitchen equipment includes microwave and fridge with icebox.  Guests also have access to a washing machine which is situated in an outhouse, on request.  For up to three four-legged guests, there are open fields for morning and evening jaunts, and an easy, circular walk up to the Moor and back to the village (via The Old Inn if you so wish!).  There is a hose in the garage if any muddy dogs need a wash down.  Bicycles, body boards, wetsuits, can also be stored in the garage if required.

Check in is after 4pm, and departure is by 10am.

There is a small charge for pets at £25 each.

A refundable housekeeping deposit of £25 is taken for each booking, which is returned to you promptly when the cottage is left in a clean and tidy state.

A cot/highchair is available on request.
